An issue that has been obvious and consitant throughout my life is finding clothing that fits correctly. I always thought this was something due to me being a certain size. This is a struggle with women who are of all shapes and sizes. The word I want to emphasize on is shape. There are so many body shapes, yet only one is considered when making and designing clothing. I wanted to focus on the dark and light of the fashion industry. I was inspired by the beauty of Renaissance art but fascinated by its dark meaning.I realized this parallel to the fashion industry due to the beauty of clothing but the tragedy of fit. It’s not about size it’s about fit. It’s time to make categories of sizing by body-type.
